Terms of Collaboration
The general terms that govern how Westtro works with clients — from the first consultation to project handover.
LAST UPDATED: 10.10.2026Scope of services
The scope of each project — functionality, design, and timelines — is agreed in an individual proposal before work begins. These terms of collaboration set out the general way we work with clients; the specific details of a project are always governed by a written, agreed proposal.
The collaboration process
The collaboration follows six steps: consultation and needs assessment, proposal preparation, design development and approval, development, testing and launch, and training and support after launch.
Payment terms
We offer a flexible payment system — payment is typically split across several stages matching the project's progress. The exact payment terms and schedule are specified in each project's individual proposal.
Development timelines
The project timeline is confirmed at the start of the project and depends on its scope and complexity. Timelines may be revised if feedback from the client's side, content delivery, or additional change requests delay progress.
Intellectual property
After full payment, the client acquires the rights to the completed website and its materials. Westtro retains the right to showcase the completed work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any information exchanged during the collaboration, and not to disclose it to third parties without the other party's consent.
Changes and termination of collaboration
Either party may terminate the collaboration by informing the other party in writing. Work stages completed up to the point of termination remain payable in accordance with the agreed proposal.
